'Operation Toofan 2.0'

Anti-Drug Awareness Programmes Organized

As part of 'Operation Toofan 2.0' , a joint initiative of the Local Self Government Department and the Kerala Police aimed at completely preventing the use and spread of narcotic drugs in the state, extensive anti-drug public awareness programmes were organized at Nemom Block Panchayat.

As part of the programme, Nemom Block Panchayat President P. Shanmugham inaugurated the activities by hoisting the anti-drug awareness flag at the office premises. Elected representatives, police officials, employees, and students participated in an anti-drug awareness pledge. This was followed by the distribution of 'Toofan Warrior' badges.

The awareness class on the dangers of drug abuse was led by Ajith, Excise Preventive Officer, Neyyattinkara Circle.

👥 Participants

Nemom Block Panchayat Vice President Mini A., Standing Committee Chairpersons, Block Panchayat members, Malayinkeezhu Sub-Inspector Nadirsha, officials, students, and local residents participated in the programmes.
